About Brandon F. Chase

Brandon F. Chase recently joined Libby Hoopes Brooks & Mulvey to focus on civil and criminal litigation. 

Previously, as a former Senior Assistant Attorney General at the New Hampshire Department of Justice, he led high‑stakes, high‑profile litigation, including serving as first chair in a landmark five‑week civil trial, defending the State against a claim seeking hundreds of millions of dollars. Brandon also co‑led significant civil litigation concerning the effects of social media on New Hampshire children. His work reached beyond state borders, collaborating with Attorneys General Offices nationwide on intricate lawsuits seeking injunctive relief from the federal government on First‑ and Second‑Amendment, environmental, immigration, and related issues affecting New Hampshire citizens.

Brandon previously worked as an in‑house litigator at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where he refined his expertise representing clients in complex insurance‑defense matters in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts.  He defended against claims, negotiated settlements, and provided strategic legal counsel.

A graduate of New England Law | Boston, Chase is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, the District Court of North Dakota, and the Courts of Appeal for the Fifth, Eighth, Tenth, and D.C. Circuits. He earned a B.S. from Colby‑Sawyer College and began his public‑service career as a police officer in Boscawen, New Hampshire.
